Yesterday, on Saturday, 22nd September 2014 we have won the indoor tournament Sokół Winter CUP!!! 1st. Place!!! The tournament took place (from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.) in the Hala widowiskowo-sportowa von Sokół Warszawa.
There were two groups with 4 teams (all together: eight teams).
Group A: Legion Warszawa I/ MKS Varsovia/ UKS Błyskawicy/ KS Łomianki
Group B: Bałkan Team/ Unia Warszawa/ Legion Warszawa II/ WBS Warszawa
Our matches:
1) Bałkan Team - WBS (0:2)
2) Unia Warszawa - WBS (3:0)
3) Legion Warszawa II - WBS (0:0)
With these results we reached the half-final:
WBS Warszawa - Legion Warszawa I (2:1)
The final:
MKS Varsovia - WBS Warszawa (0:1)
At the winner's ceremony each player got a medal and additionally we've got a big trophy for the 1st. place :-)
Our goalkeeper Dominik Kowalczyk was awarded as the best 'goali' of the whole tournament. CONGRATULATIONS!
Herewith we would like to thank all of you (team/ parents/ spectators/ audience/ organizer...)
A special thank you goes to our parents for the "shuttle service" and the coffee.
Especially we would like to thank family Sekreta.
Although Matvei was not nominated for the tournament, his father Igor drove the kids - SUPER!!! THANKS MATVEI (for cheering on the team)!
