Training for Trainers at WBS Warsaw
04.08.2020
July turned out to be an intense time in terms of coaching training at our Academy.
The first stage took place on 12.07 and 18-19.07.2020, where we had the opportunity to learn many new things and improve our training workshop during the twenty-hour training.
At the beginning, Maciej Suszczyński, the Sports Director of Academy of Football WBS Warsaw, led the theoretical part, in which we learned, among others:
• what is the role of the trainer in the process of educating children,
• what coaching styles we have and how to use them skillfully,
• how to increase the effective working time during training,
• how to develop football intelligence in players,
• how to use the full potential of a player and not limit his creativity,
• how to analyze the game and what to pay attention to at each stage of football training,
In the practical part, there was a demonstration training for the youngest players, in which we could use the newly acquired knowledge on the pitch. We would like to thank the parents and players from 2012 and 2013 for participating in the training.
The second stage of the training was a unique meeting with coach Aleksander Kowalczyk from Fútbol Español. The players from the age of 2007, 2008 and 2009 had the opportunity to participate in the training conducted by a trainer from Spain. Thanks to the meeting with coach Aleksander, we learned "from the inside" what football in Spain looks like, what is the emphasis in the training process and what are the differences and similarities in the training of children in Poland and Spain. We would like to thank the Trainer, Trainers from our Academy as well as Parents and Players for their active participation in the training.
In addition, our trainer - Justyna Piskorz takes a two-week course in Krakow, where she improves her knowledge in the field of motor preparation of footballers. The course is extremely demanding, but after completing it, the WBS Academy will already have another motor preparation trainer in its ranks.
The condition for the development of our players is the continuous development of our trainers and therefore we do not intend to slow down and are already planning further training. Contrary to our players, who can make mistakes on the pitch, WBS Warszawa coaches do not have such comfort and must be perfectly prepared to practice their profession.
