Another edition of the football camp with Borussia Dortmund is already behind us. We had the pleasure to host our partner club for the fourth time at the Willy Brandt Campus and the Wilanów Sport Center facilities!
During five intense days at the Wilanów facilities under the supervision of professional coaches from Dortmund, who were supported by trainers of the WBS Warsaw Football Academy, through sport education and fun over 80 children from various parts of Mazovia were trained. Among them, traditionally, there were five residents of Wilanów, whose participation in the course was enabled by the Wilanów town hall.
Participants had two training sessions each day and ate a healthy meal. Water and fruit were also at their disposal. Every day they had a new training topic, there were also integration games and activities as well as competitions with prizes.
As the partner club of Borussia Dortmund, we also had the opportunity to take part in coach workshops, which were organized on Willy Brandt campus premises in the form of internal training, which was conducted by the Sports Director of the BVB Academy in Poland Michał Zioło. Caring about the development of youth football, we decided to invite coaches from other football academies in Wilanów as well.
As the WBS Warsaw Football Academy, we would like to thank all participants, their parents, the training staff from Dortmund, Wilanów District, Sport Center Wilanów, our partners - Alfa Transport, Swiss, general sponsor CFE, Willy Brandt School in Warsaw and all other people involved in this project - thanks to you every player finished the course with a smile on their face!
We are happy that for almost six years, our cooperation with Borussia Dortmund is built on a foundation of friendship and cooperation.
